Site and Situation

The concepts of site and situation can be articulated as two axis:

The site is the vertical axis, mostly related to the attributes of a location, which mainly fall within physical, infrastructure and economic characteristics.
The situation is the horizontal axis, expressing the relationships with other locations at the local, regional or global scale.
