Loading a Post-Panamax Containership
The Ever Ulysses, built in 2000, is owned by the Taiwanese maritime company Evergreen and has a capacity of 5,600 TEU. The white containership in the back is owned by Safmarine (South African Marine Corporation) which was acquired in 1999 by Moller-Maersk (Danish). Incidentally a Maersk ship (in light blue) is berthed right behind.
